Learning from a Death Doula

A death doula is a compassionate professional who provides holistic, non-medical support to individuals approaching death and their loved ones. Unlike hospice workers or medical professionals, death doulas focus on the emotional, spiritual, and practical aspects of dying.

In my favourite podcast of the year, Laura Coleman shares stories about her profession, that are both intimate and heart warming. A warning, there is some strong language from the presenter.
